Before working with Dave at Asentiv Merseyside I was frustrated with the progress of my business. I had a core of steady members and I was networking hard, was working to my best level, but something wasn’t quite right. I had a good core of members however I was working to hard trying to keep everything running effectively and was spending less time with my family. This wasn’t what I signed up for when I started my business.
I’d met Dave a few times while networking and I was always struck by the fact he seemed to have the work life balance thing sorted, so when he invited me along to a seminar I was happy to attend to see how he did it. I was really impressed and became a client straight after.
The biggest thing I got from working with Dave was how I needed to be more specific with my target market. I had previously wanted “anyone” from “anywhere” and this had made it harder for people to refer clients to me as it was to generic. After one particularly difficult coaching session were Dave pushed me hard to think about who I wanted to help and why, I was able to hone my target market client description so well that within a month I had added ten new clients to my year long fitness program
Understanding my true target market clients has increased the growth of my business so much that I now have a small team of staff to support the work we do. This not only provides a better client experience it has also allowed me to grow my business in a sustainable way. In turn I am now able to spend more time with my family which was one of the reasons I started my own business in the first place.
