Working with Asentiv this last year has been a key element in my business growth and development throughout 2016. Creating a targeted networking strategy and a referral marketing plan I have been able to exceed my business targets both in terms of turnover and profit in 2016.
Before becoming client of Asentiv my business was doing well but it always felt like I was playing catch up within the business and the cost of time with my family. I found it difficult to get my message across to the right people as to why they should use Tornado rather than our competitors. The very first session I had with Dave revolved around my Emotionally charged connection (ECC). I wasn’t expecting this at all as I’d decided to work with Dave on my business and not on me. I soon realised that a key component of taking my business to the next level was to understand why I do what I do, in other words, my ECC.
This was difficult at first as I wasn’t sure what drove me run my web design and online marketing business. After some careful but tough coaching from Dave, I understood that my desire to prove people wrong who had doubted my abilities when I was younger, along with my passion for creating brilliant design is what fires me up to make a difference for my clients.
This was a key element of my referral marketing plan as I now had a clear, message of the main thing that separated me from my competition. Now when I went out networking I told my story and discovered the people who connected with my ECC. This made my life easier as I attracted the type of clients who bought into me and my business and an unexpected bonus this meant I only worked with people I liked as not everyone bought into my story. This is ok for me as I end up working with people I get along with.
Asentiv as been a great support this year and I’m looking forward to growing my business even further in 2017.
